Undergraduate entry requirements

Minimum 55% or above from a Local Board Examination or its equivalent.

Entry to year two or three

If you have achieved a Foundation Degree, CertHE, DipHE, HNC, HND or a number of modules of an undergraduate degree course at another university, you may be able to enter directly into the second or third year of one of our undergraduate degree courses.

We recognise qualifications from a range of awarding bodies including Aptech, ABE and Edexcel.

Students must also meet our standard English Language requirements.

Postgraduate entry requirements

For most postgraduate courses, you must have completed a good Bachelor degree, equivalent to a British second class honours degree from a recognised university.

Some courses will have prerequisites, such as prior study in a specific subject or relevant work-experience.

Students applying for a postgraduate programme must also meet our standard English Language requirements.

Students are requested to Apply for a long term study visa.

E Residence

Once in Malta,the University will assist you with obtaining your E Residence which will double as your Maltese ID Card up until the duration of your studies. This will also allow you to travel around Europe within the Schengen area.

Middlesex Scholarships

South Asia Scholarship

The Malta campus will be awarding a 20% scholarship to all students applying from the following countries for September 2020 intake *:

- Nepal

- India

- Sri Lanka

- Pakistan

- Bangladesh

The scholarship is available on all programmes currently running at the Malta campus.

Students are not required to fill any scholarship form, 20% will be deducted automatically to all students eligible.*

*Scholarships are not available for students who are already benefiting from any other discounts/scholarships

Government scholarships and funding

All students are entitled for a 70% refund on their tuition fees in the form of tax rebate upon successful completion of their degree. The reimbursement is granted to all students paying tax in Malta post graduation.

International students who secure full time jobs in Malta post graduation are also entitled to the grant.

Alumni Scholarship

This is an award which is given to all graduates of Middlesex University who have achieved a first or second class honours degree. An application to any postgraduate programme at Middlesex University which meets the stated entry requirements will automatically be subject to a 10% discount on the tuition fee.

Academic Merit Scholarship

The scholarship is available for all students applying for a postgraduate degree at the Malta Campus. The top-5 ranking Merit applicants will qualify for a 20% discount on their postgraduate programme tuition fees

The Academic Merit Scholarship requires applicants to have passed their undergraduate degree with an upper second or first class honours degree, and to fulfil all the stated entry requirements for the postgraduate programme of their choice.
